Our meeting on this platform is no coincidence. It's the result of our overlapping interests amplified by platforms like YouTube, Pinterest, Kindle and Instagram. The common thread? A profound interest in sustainable marketing strategies that shy away from the mainstream 'content machine' we're all too familiar with.

While social media marketing does thrive on visibility, there's another approach to explore - one that steers clear of the relentless content machine.
Danielle is about to reveal one of her tools for success - the Message Organiser (MO) document, which allows her to incorporates market research intel into her business week after week. The collected data paints a picture of her ideal clients, in their own language and in their own words, enabling a marketing strategy aligned with their needs.
The MO is a game-changer; it's a compass that directs you to precise messaging, giving birth to compelling individual pieces that help build your audience and make you discoverable in the sea of internet entities. Ep.03 A Case Against Consistency, And What To Focus On Instead
Sunday May 12, 2024
Sunday May 12, 2024
Conventional marketing advice emphasises consistency - always being visible and constantly showing up. However, what if amending this strict approach can lead to a more successful business path? Our discussion today aims to shed light on this matter, giving special focus on a fascinating body of work called 'Creator Types.'
One remarkable discovery is that your body shape can tell a lot about your business methods. For instance, the 'whirlwind' type operates sporadically, in bursts, instead of maintaining regular momentum. Interestingly, this nature resonates with many individuals, even with me. Once every two to three weeks, I tend to share something highly resonant, attracting a significant number of engagements from people on social media. This sporadic yet potent visibility works much better for me compared to constant updates.
To explore further, we have Ahara, the inventor of the Creator Types. She provides a more in-depth understanding of how different types operate, from 'soil' creators that crave structure to others who operate on spontaneity. Creator Types offer a fascinating insight into understanding your nature and aligning it with your business approach for optimal results.
Want to know your Creator Type? Stay tuned as the Creator Types makes its debut in quiet marketing and be prepared for a transformative marketing journey. It will form part of my soon-to-launch program, Discoverability by Design, aiming to revolutionize traditional marketing advice.

Ep.02 Creating a Tiny Course Empire, Where To Start
Sunday May 12, 2024
Sunday May 12, 2024
Here's the second instalment of Diary of a Quiet Marketer - an insightful guide for those wanting to launch tiny courses. The discussion brings to light the essential step to take 'before' deciding on your course topic and starting to create it.
00:36 Tiny courses are a great way to serve more people without more face time, while also creating a channel for passive income.
01:00 No.1 Thing to avoid: Creating a course around what you want to teach, rather than building it around a transformation people are actively seeking.
02:01 No.2 Thing to avoid: Not being discoverable by their ideal clients everyday online searches, which means in order to drive sales you have to maintain a consistent presence on social media
02:34 No.3 Thing to avoid: Ending up with a beautifully crafted course that nobody feels compelled to buy.
03:00 How I created my tiny course empire
06:25 Where I recommend you start yours

Ep.04: Podcasting Made Easy: How To Get Started This Weekend
Sunday May 12, 2024
Sunday May 12, 2024
I am thrilled to share that I've just birthed my own 'proper' podcast and I couldn't be more excited. Starting a podcast has been on my radar for some time now, but other priorities have kept it on the back burner -- until recently as a result of a with some of my clients.
One of them has been rebooting her business and as part of that, she rolled out a thoughtfully-crafted podcast, and the other had just kicked off her first podcast episode.
We talked about the challenge of podcast administration and the amount of time and effort that is needed to get each episode up -- and how it can drain once creative energy.
But, we also have a choice to simplify production – to hit record, have an interesting conversation and then upload straight away. Are the episodes perfect? No, but I firmly believe that it’s the message that is shared that matters more than anything.
Today I had so much fun creating my own album art and setting up a dedicated podcast page on my website. Now I feel excited and activated in a way that can’t quite be expressed in words.
Whether or not I will stick to a fixed schedule and the frequency of my podcast remains to be seen. But for now, I am just enjoying the ride and not confining myself to any limitations.
I am not looking to strategise or analyse, I'm simply looking to create and share. I think this is what makes the process so liberating and genuinely personal to me.
My intention is to keep the process as simple as possible. Down the line, I might even create a tiny course about it. Regardless of what happens, I am content in the fact that I'm opening up a new channel for people to discover me.
Thank you for watching. If you have any thoughts, let's chat in the comments.

Ep.05: Visibility V’s Discoverability Marketing: Why It Matters For HSP’s
Monday May 20, 2024
Monday May 20, 2024
In this episode of Diary of a Quiet Marketer, I compare 'visibility' with 'discoverability' and explain why the latter is a much better marketing strategy for highly sensitive people.
Discoverability turns conventional marketing and cold outreach strategies on their head. Instead of trying to capture people's attention by showing up on social media news feeds, you mindfully craft searchable content that your ideal clients actually go looking for. As a result, people actively pursue you!
I also introduce the concept of "suggestibility," a powerful added bonus of discoverability, whereby platforms suggest your content to potential clients — brining more people to you at zero cost.
This episode wraps up with an invitation to join my Discoverability by Design program, designed for being found outside of social media so you can make a stable income without needing to be consistently visible online.

What makes you different from others doing similar work to you? The answer to this question is hiding in plain site — visible by the contours and shapes of your face, torso and limbs.
In this episode I delve into a fascinating nature and body-based profiling system called the Creator Types invented by A’Hara Kent.
There are 12 Creator Types in total, and each of us have 4 of these types that characterise how we move through business and life.
One of mine is the ‘River Creator', which characterises those with the ability to streamline, simplify, and discover shortcuts.
Tune into my conversation with A’hara for insights on how your unique value proposition is visible through your physical form.

Ep.07: The Marketing Activity That Most Impacts Sales
Wednesday May 29, 2024
Wednesday May 29, 2024
This episode explores a powerful yet often misunderstood marketing tool: market research.
Many people miss the mark with market research because they think that its purpose is for our audience to tell us what to offer — it’s not.
I'll discuss the common errors, such as using testimonials, not applying research insights effectively, and not asking the right questions.
To make more sales with less effort, you need a market research 'system' that brings in fresh, relevant data on a weekly basis, so you always have the right words for your sales pages and content.
Feel overwhelmed by market research? I got you!
My Discoverability by Design program demystifies the process, with templates and tech tools, for seamless integration into your messaging, content and offerings.

Saturday Jul 06, 2024
Saturday Jul 06, 2024
If your business relies on your constant presence, you might find it hard to take breaks or handle illness without losing income. In this episode, I share my journey toward creating a more sustainable business model.
It all began in 2019 when my 12-month mentorship program didn’t attract as many participants as expected. This prompted me to rethink my approach and led to the development of tiny courses, starting with "The Art of Responding."
As the pandemic hit in 2020, I focused on converting live workshops into tiny courses, covering topics like interviewing, hosting live classes, and message building. This pivot not only diversified my income streams but also resonated with my audience.
Throughout this process, I realised the importance of starting small and focusing on one transformation your course can provide. This episode offers insights and practical advice on creating tiny courses to build a more resilient and sustainable business.
